Alexander Murdock

Alexander Murdock is a StyleStreak capstone team member focused on turning the project from a loose concept into a coherent product experience. His work spans the mobile app, Firebase backend, public web presence, and the connective tissue between user experience and technical implementation. Within StyleStreak, he has spent a significant amount of time shaping how users move from raw clothing photos to useful wardrobe data, how AI-enhanced styling flows should feel in practice, and how privacy and account controls should remain straightforward even as the product grows.

His interests center on applied product engineering, mobile and web software, developer tools, and practical AI features that solve real workflow problems instead of existing only as demos. StyleStreak reflects those interests by combining a polished consumer-facing experience with a backend designed for maintainability, secure data handling, and iterative feature growth. He is especially interested in software that turns complex, messy inputs into something a user can understand and act on quickly, which aligns well with wardrobe organization, outfit planning, and fashion-oriented travel prep.

Theo Kremer

Theo Kremer is a StyleStreak capstone team member whose contributions are especially visible in the parts of the product that shape first impressions, user interaction, and the overall styling experience. His work has focused on core user-facing features that help turn the app into something intuitive, engaging, and visually coherent. This includes building the live auto scan flow, supporting multi photo upload, and designing key onboarding moments such as sign in with Apple and Gmail and the welcome screen that introduces users to the app. Together, these features help make the experience feel accessible from the very beginning while also supporting a smooth transition from account creation to active use.

Within the app itself, he has also contributed to the more creative and interactive parts of StyleStreak. He built the customizable drag and drop canvas page, the outfit builder that allows users to swipe through carousels to assemble looks, and the mannequin generation flow that lets users visualize selected clothing on a styled figure. He also contributed personalization features by enabling mannequins with different skin tones, helping the product feel more representative and user centered. His interests are reflected in StyleStreak through these features that combine usability, personalization, and visual friendliness, which makes StyleStreak feel less like a static wardrobe and more of an interactive styling platform.

Huong Tran

Hello! My name is Huong Tran and I'm an undergrad at the University of Utah. This spring of 2026, I'll be receiving my Bachelor's in Software Development. Starting back in September of 2025 to now, I've been working closely with the members of StyleStreak to build our closet management app from the very ground up. I contributed in building some of StyleStreak's database infrastructure, but a significant part of my efforts were in the front-end UI/UX department. My tasks involved not only ensuring that the team's mobile app interfaces worked across both Android and iOS devices, but also iteratively improving human usability, all while maintaining visual appeal.

Human-computer interaction is a core interest of mine, driving me to continuously explore the many ways to promote harmonious integration of computing in the everyday lives of the average person. I consider myself to be a very creative individual and an active seeker for new knowledge and challenges. This is reflected in my primary participation in the front-end design of projects such as StyleStreak; I like to think of myself as the mediator that bridges and facilitates the communication between people and technology. My goal for every task is to reduce the amount of stress put upon others and to provide lasting value in what I produce.
